Soak lentils for 4 hours, strain and grind in blender with chopped ginger, ¼ cup water, salt, baking powder, crushed red pepper and cumin mix all well
Now beat mixture very well with electric hand beater till mixture is frothy, heat oil in a
karhai for deep frying, wet the palm of your left hand, with left hand make dumplings with the lentils batter.
Press lightly, deep fry 5 to 6 at a time on medium flame till light golden, remove from oil and keep aside.
Then dip in hot water for 15 minutes, remove from water and squeeze the water out,
Beat yogurt with sugar, salt and arrange dumplings in a flat dish, pour the yogurt on top
Sprinkle chat masala and imli chatni, and garnish with coriander leaves
