(Junaid Tahir, Karachi)

Job is today’s crucial and basic requirement for a person to survive in this fast paced world. A job lets you accomplish your financial tasks and other chores. But as growing numbers in human population, the struggle to find the exact job as per one’s qualification has become a serious time consuming and nerve wrecking task.

Now a days the positive thing to be noted is that our industries have increased in many dimensions, and with that there are many jobs available in the market, but selection criteria is so strict that those who could have been availing that position are unable to succeed in their job hunting. The reasons are simple in one way but complex in other.

The studies may vary from country to country and person to person depending on the implementations of Labor Laws, and observation. In Pakistan it has been observed that many people are employed in jobs, for which they are not qualified, for example, a school passed person is working in IT industry (may be on lower level), an engineer is working in administration, a marketing person is working in HR and HR person is working in some other irrelevant field of profession.

The reason behind all those above stated areas are due to nepotism and lack of employer’s interest in the grooming their businesses. Moreover the reason behind is that, many talent people are moving out of country due to unstable political and rough attitude of the companies and small pays for huge work load.
