We are all always furious of our safety or the safety of our data, either if it is business or personal. There is always some sort of doubt in us to loss or leak it to someone who would misuse it. As recently we saw the ceo of Facebook apologizing to the US community for data leaks and the propaganda by some Russian for misleading facts during the campaign of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 electorate. Facebook was also having Information about $87 million people who were not using Facebook according to the US lawmaker. If a country like US is not safe with so much information leaks are we?
Facebook which is indeed a stolen idea by Mark Zuckerberg from Cameron Winklevoss and his brother are known for co-founding HarvardConnection (later renamed ConnectU) along with Harvard classmate Divya Narendra. In 2004, the brothers sued Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for $65 million, claiming he stole their ConnectU idea to create the popular social networking site Facebook. And we select one of the thevies (no doubt on his talent) as a leading Ceo in Forbes. Indeed A thief is a thief even if he is on the highest of stars. He(Facebook) is stealing your data at the right second when you are reading this blog . Now the question arises what is to be done? Is uninstalling the option?
No neither is it the option if you want to run in this fast moving society. You need to be connected to the modern world. And if you are not awake of the latest things going on around the world you are cut off the race. Even if uninstalling is not the option then what is the option. The best solution is using it with carefully with login in when required and logging off when required and providing limited information of you in it. So that you are safe from being a misused puppet by some foreign game.
