Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
is the spiritual centre of Muslims. There are 2 harams (Masjid Haraam and Masjid
Nabvi) and many other religious places are located in KSA. On the other hand,
Pakistan is the defense centre and the only nuclear power of the Islamic World.
Both countries are the apple of one’s eye of Muslims. On 23rd of September 1932,
Shah Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rehman Al-Saud laid the foundation of KSA. It is also
the national day of KSA.
Sacred Hijaz is the axis of faith. Our heart is beating in its love. Its
relation is also part of our firm of belief. Saudi rulers serve Islam sincerity
and help Muslims across the world. The purpose of Saudi rulers is the formation
of the Islamic system (Quran & Sunnah). Its rulers have polished to the Islamic
society through his struggle. It is also playing the main role to enhance and
defense of Islamic beliefs and their religious values.
Saudi Government has played important role in the publication of Quran o Sunnah.
The Holy Quran is printed in King Fahd Complex, Madina. It produces 10 million
copies of the Quran every year. The complex has published 55 different
translations of the Quran in 39 languages.
KSA Government makes special management for pilgrims every year. It provides
equal service to all pilgrims. The government does the best arrangements for the
security of Hajj. In the result, the situation of the stampede is not created.
Medical treatment is also free. Signboards, big screens are installed for the
guidance of pilgrims. Saudi Government has made the Hajj Research Centre. All
managements for Hajj were seen and observed through security cameras. Quran e
Majeed and other Islamic materials are given to pilgrims in pilgrim’s native
language.
Writing more, the relationship between Pakistan and KSA is very ideal. The love
between Saudi rulers and Pakistan is not hidden. They prove from their act that
they are truly friends of Pakistanis. They help Pakistan in a difficult time.
The newly elected PM Pakistan Imran Khan chose KSA for his official overseas
visit. During his visit, Khan met with Saudi King Shah Salman and Crown Prince
Muhammad bin Salman. Imran Khan informed Saudi leadership regarding the troubles
of the Muslims of Indian Held Kashmir, suffering human rights violations. Saudi
Arabia promises Pakistan of full support.
Stepping more, First agreement of friendship and cooperation was signed between
both countries in 1951. During a visit to Pakistan in 1954, King Saud called
Pakistan as his second home and said about Pakistani flag: “This flag is mine.
It’s my country”. Saudi Arabia also supports Pakistan’s stance at Kashmir issue.
King Shah Faisal discussed the right of self-determination of Kashmiris in his
first speech. Saudi Arabia fully supported politically, mediatory, moral,
military and economically during the wars of 1965 and 1971. Saudi Arabia and
Pakistan are the closest partners in defense in the Middle East. Both countries
have shared the extensive military and intelligence cooperation. In 1967,
Pakistan and KSA signed a Military agreement. According to the agreement,
training of Saudi army was assigned to Pakistan. When Pakistan conducted six
successful nuclear tests in 1998, west got anger and economic restrictions had
been imposed on Pakistan. Saudi Arabia fully supported Pakistan in trouble.
Saudi Arabia donated over US$3.3 million during the aftermath of the 2005
Kashmir earthquake.
Concluding more, Pakistan’s relations with KSA are based on Islam. KSA has
helped and supported Pakistan in times of need. Pakistan should provide every
kind of assistance to KSA politically, moral and military.
