More than 260 million children and young people are out of school, and many of them will never get an education: CEO WRO

Islamabad: Waheed Relief organization (WRO) organized gift distribution ceremony in local non formal school. There were 150 male and female students and 20 staff members got gifts from CEO WRO

CEO WRO addressed to all participants’ He said Education is must for every citizen and as we know that children are over future then we should educate to every child for future challenges , Education is more than just a fundamental right; it helps pave the way to a successful and productive future. More children are now taking part in early childhood education, which is critical for their developing brains.

Every child in the world has the right to a free and quality education. But more than 260 million children and young people are out of school, and many of them will never get an education. He said All over the world young people, government officials, faith leaders and others are working to make sure every child has the chance to get a quality education.

With several programmes of research, pilot projects and nationwide campaigns, of supporters are working together to make sure every child has the right to a safe, free and quality education.

Director WRO Mrs. Nasreen Waheed said Waheed Relief Organization is working to ensure that every child receives a good quality education, and learns the skills they will need to thrive in the 21st century. We are breaking down the barriers to education by helping poor and vulnerable children – including those who are living in conflict and disaster zones - access early childhood and primary school services.

Our work is leading the way in improving literacy and numeracy skills, helping teachers to teach and children to learn. Through our work, we are supporting out-of-school young people access training in a skill or occupation, so that they can get a job which provides them with enough money to survive.

Director Alburraq Enterprises Kamran Malik said Education is the route out of poverty for many children. It gives them a chance to gain the knowledge and skills needed to improve their lives. But millions of children never see the inside of a classroom.
For many families the long-term benefits of sending their children to school are outweighed by the immediate need to send them to work or keep them at home to help with chores.
Children miss out on school because their families need them to earn money. But by sacrificing their education, they become trapped in a cycle of poverty.

Ceremony was organized at Mount Hira School G-12/4 Where children are getting free education with basic educational facilities, At the end of the event School principal Ms. Rizwana thanks to WRO team for participate and brought happiness and smile on school children’s face. She committed that in future they will promote educational activities and raise hand for educate to children
