One of the most incredible feelings a person may have is joy. When we are happy, we don't experience any pain, neglect, fear, self-doubt, or perplexity. We sense a bond with something bigger than ourselves. So let's encourage reading in our children so they can enjoy a wonderful tale and a few chuckles.

A significant study conducted lately in the US demonstrated that children preferred reading novels that made them laugh when reading for enjoyment. And it makes total sense. Everyone enjoys laughing.
