Where are Human Rights now?
(mohammad junaid, karachi)
At the tragedy of second May,
every Citizen of Pakistan was shocked like me. Whatever news were coming through
media ,were unbelievable. Even now, no one can speak about with certainty, of
what had really happened in Abbottabad? However after the American military
operation in the dark night, the widows and children of Osama Bin Ladin have
been under custody of Pak agencies, as told .One widow named 'AMAL' has gone
under hunger strike as a protest. She is injured and sick too.
Once there was a time when we as a nation ,were worried over the illegal arrest
of Dr.Afia Siddiqui, because she appeared absolutely innocent during the whole
case, but she has been suffering uptil now. Amal , same like Dr.Afia is under
arrest , without any accuse. Just analyze with sincerity and you will feel that
it is a mere violation of human rights. The rights we are oppressed to accept in
the case like that of "Raymond Davis", but we fail to convey the world in the
cases of Afia or Amal !
