MOST of the teachers often
complain about their students being very passive and disruptive during the
class. Many allegedly discriminate between them by ranking them as intelligent
and dull ones.
In most cases students going to an elite school are thought to be of some
stature and the ones who could hardly make to an ordinary school located in an
underprivileged area are labeled passive and troublemaker.
One such example of students being not up to the mark to comprehend anything and
always lagging behind was reported by the teachers in an ordinary school near
where I reside. Being a teacher, just to make sure if it was the case, I sought
permission to teach one of those classes where students were believed to be
blunt and always up to mischief.
During my class, the principal of that school also sat there to analyze the
whole situation and, to his utter surprise, the class did not behave the way it
had always done. What is more, the ones who had been labeled dumb and
unimaginative were the ones to welcome the proceedings of the class.
Teachers are often witnessed complaining about their students’ ill-behavior and
poor interest in studies, but not for a single moment do they hold themselves
accountable for all that is going wrong.
Things a craftsman produces can never be defective unless there has been some
negligence in shaping them. Some genius craftsmen even make a wonder out of
nothing without the necessary tools. Teachers are the craftsmen of society who
if they do not know how to teach and be fair with their profession cannot
produce marvels.
