Karachi, Hub of Pakistan
(Humera Sardar, Peshawar)
Karachi is one the biggest city
in the world in terms of area, population, commercial and financial. It is an
economics and industrial hub and backbone of Pakistan. Karachi is like a garden;
just as garden have different kinds and colors of flowers same as people from
different communities, languages, religions and sectors from all over Pakistan
live together in Karachi.
Peace and stability of a country can be easily destroyed if its important city
is plundered, then gradually the poison spreads over the whole country. That’s
why Pakistan’s hidden and apparent enemies are scattering disorder and anarchy
in Karachi while internal and external elements have been divided Karachi into
different sectarian groups. Urdu speaking, sindhis, pathans, balochis and
punjabis have their own residential areas and conservations. Political parties
and corrupt administration are supporting target killers, gangs and mafias.
The objectives of hidden hands in Karachi’s unstable situation are to declare
Pakistan as failed and terrorist state and to isolate Pakistan internationally.
Secondly, Karachi is an economic centre and generates major part of the total
revenue, violence in Karachi can weaken economy of Pakistan. Thirdly, Pakistan
is an atomic power and has strong defense. It is fact that Pakistanis are
talented and hardworking and if sincere leadership and favorable conditions are
provided to them; Pakistan can become the greatest nation so Karachi is
victimized by conspirators to obstruct progression of Pakistan. Internal
elements are also involved in Karachi’s bloodshed. It has severally been noticed
that target killing and allegation politics are started in Karachi immediately
to divert concentration from an issue.
It is difficult but not impossible to bring peace in Karachi. Determination,
sincerity and honesty can finish violence, anarchy, target killing and street
crimes from Karachi for ever. Government, political parties, Karachi
administration and law enforcement agencies are key players for bringing peace
in Karachi. Political parties should stop blaming on each other and resolve
issues and differences on table instead of roads. They should stop support and
funding to target killers, gangs and bhatta and drug mafias. Police and rangers
should not become blind and deaf and finish their secret links with criminals.
There should be completely acted upon on law and rules and if any one violets
the law should be punished. Karachi is our city and its our own responsibility
to transform oppressed Karachi again into peaceful Karachi.
