Microsoft To Launch Windows 8 Updates

Microsoft, who are releasing
their all time most awaited Windows 8 on the 26 OCT on this year has provided
details on how you will be able to update your applications in Windows 8. In a
blog post by Gabriel Aul, Microsoft’s program management team wrote that the
store tile will notify you when updates are available and you can update it by
clicking the respective update options available.
Microsoft has already started updating their apps which were included in the RTM
version of Windows 8. One of the first updates provided was Bing, which includes
richer research results for content and images. Bing is now with the integration
to select form the search result an image and use it in your apps or screen.

Among other applications to be updated in this week will be Skydrive with the
features of search, renaming, and user friendly sorting order. Also Maps app
will include Bird’s Eye view and maps for more than 3 thousand indoor spots.

He (Aul) also said in his blog post that, “We are happy to announce that these
updates are out and should be available to everyone using Windows 8 RTM.” He
said there are thousands of applications in Windows Store and we are working
with our development team and crews to bring them out as soon as possible.
Remember that last significant step after the launch of Windows 8 costumer
preview version was to accept the user submissions in Windows 8, which will
really help everyone to get a lot of applications just like mobile phones.
