Diplomacy In Religion
(Hafiz Muhammad Noman, Karachi)
On Tuesday evening, I heard
that some of the men and women were saying Naats on loud speaker nearby my
street. In the meantime, the time for Namaz-e-Maghrib started and Azans were
started to offer in many mosques of my area. But, the thing that captured my
attention was the Naats that were still being said on the loud speaker.
It was amazing that the men and women were busy in saying Naats whereas Azans
were being offered, they even didn’t perform Namaz-e-Maghrib. I want to ask them
why did they do so? If they were good Muslims, why didn’t they perform the Namaz
even though Namaz is the Muslims’ responsibility?! It is very unfortunate that
the Muslims today are leaving all what is their duty and adopting what is an
extra thing, but not necessary. They should perform their real duties or
responsibilities that Allah has given the Muslims. Think of it!
