Asian snooker champianship

Pakistan snooker team arrived
from Doha on after competing in the second 6-Redball Asian Snooker Championship
and inaugural Asian team event.
World amateur champion Mohammad Asif did the country proud by capturing the
6-redball regional title.
However, top seeds Pakistan made unceremonious exit in the Asian team event
suffering a shock defeat at the hands of Afghanistan in the quarter-final.
Besides Asif, other members of the Pakistan team were Mohammad Sajjad, Hamza
Akbar and Mohammad Majid Ali.
