Double Standards

For us our world is what is with us, the things around us.. Our goals our success others do not matter in what we do. We want the best to be with us and don’t bother about other. That’s selfish because everyone loves himself.

Today I want to discuss the “Double Standard” in every aspect of life whether it is products, feeling , sentiments , our patriotism , our religion , our friendship , our promises and in fact in as I mentioned earlier in every aspect of our lives.

In our daily life we often hear that “do number products” but if we look at our behavior that’s also something like that if we discuss our patriotism then you can see people selling their conscience to the enemies of this land and working on foreign agenda i.e. in the form of spreading terror and also in the form of handling secrets to our enemies. Pakistan is not a weak country but we are weakening it internally and making it hollow and easier for our enemies to capture. For those who cheat the country needs to be crucified because what I know is that a traitor wastes the sacrifice of millions patriots. We do get our education on the expenses of government but when it comes to serving we prefer to fall in the lap of these Americans and English like a ripe fruit. If you look at sportsmen, who were supposed to be the ambassadors of our country are indulged in making money by cheating without thinking about the honor of their country.

As a Muslim I would say that it seems that we have forgotten what a Muslim is and what should we be doing? We know what is right and wrong but when it comes to following we comes deaf and blind like we never heard anything like that before. We are using religion to benefit our personal interests some of us are using it to implement their Islam (bad interpreters of islam). Lying and abusing has become a habit in the speech. Quran has just become a book to take oaths and swears. Show off in every aspect whether it’s praying, Hajj or any other religious rite we are just wasting our efforts just to become good in the eyes of the people. You will have seen many pretending to be very religious and generous in talking but when it comes to a matter their reality are disclosed. We are just behaving like a stray dog running after the attractive world and who has forgotten his purpose of his life.

Friendship for need and for time pass that’s the modern mentality. Noting each others flaws , praising each other when meeting and abusing and making fun of each other when they are beyond each other. No respect for sentiments. No body has enough time to listen to your rubbish .. You are good until you serve each other. The day conflict rose that would be end to it. If your character is not good you will have many friends but if you’re good then it becomes difficult for you to survive."

In every day matter when it come to dealing or selling we do our best to cheat the customer and earn as much as we can especially those sellers who are found near bus stands because they know that the customer wouldn’t be able to come back to complain about the product .. In fruit carats you will have seen the upper shell to be filled with good quality fruit and the bottom with the unripe fruits ..

Another thing is the hypocrisy in feelings and sentiments .. People enjoys each other problems but pretends that they feel very grieved but when people gather you will find the same people scoffing that person .. People don’t appreciate each other on their accomplishment in fact they get jealous from them. Fake tears, Fake face expressions.
 
We must realize that we are not too good to be called a Human or a Muslim a lot is needed to be done to get this status. If you start thinking that what have backbiting, scoffing, show off and cheating given to you. Just a little happiness for an instance but a complete loss of trust and respect in the eyes of the people !! For those who are reading this they must thank God that they are alive. Life means nothing is ruined you still have a chance to expiate the mistakes you made in the past. Live for others .. No doubt that there are malefactors in the society but you don’t need to improve them. Be good yourself people will replicate you .. And when starting to do something good don’t give in easily stick to it until success is your destiny.
