Need Of More Colleges
(Zeeshan Shuakat, Karachi)
                Pakistan is a developing
country and its development is not possible without education both academic and
technical ,it is negotiable to note that there is utter lack of education
facilities in Karachi.Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan. In the last decade
the population of Karachi has increased considerably. The number of students are
also increasing every year. The existing colleges are unable to meet the
requirement of the students.Every year the thousands of students go without
admission in the colleges after passing their S.S.C examination. Most of them are
too young for service. It is argued that majority of them are students of low
merit so that they may turn useful citizens lack of educational facilities are
causing great frustration among the younger generation. They should not be denied
the right of getting higher education. Many areas have sprung up with population
of loss. All these areas have almost no colleges. Each of these areas requires at
least two colleges both boys and girls.Technical institutes should be
established to accommodate the students of low merits. So it is my humble appeal
to the Government of Pakistan to have considered this matter of lack of colleges
and work on it.
