EDUCATION AND HEALTH IN PAKISTAN

Importance of quality education and health facilities is quite significant in every society because without these two elements no country can progress and our holy prophet always tried to explain the importance of education in early ages of Islam and this is fact that no society can flourish without better education as matter of fact now a days the problems which we are facing in Pakistan is cause of illiteracy the education which should be provided to our nation was not being provided due to so many reasons and tension with India is the number one reason cause we are not able to use sufficient amount of money on education and health and on the other hand lack of political will and landlord system in our country which escalating the problems the focus which should be provided to education or health is not there other reasons are corruption and mismanagement on all government levels.

“Pakistan has one of the lowest investments in terms of education and health — it spends 0.8 percent of its GDP on health and 1.8 percent on education,” the United Nations said in a statement.

In so many reports and according to many wise and reasonable people fund allocation on education and health sector should be increase at least 5% of GDP while keep our economy in order which is quite difficult in these scenario when war on terror is going on we have lost billions of rupees and end result is zero.

In foreign countries these two facilities are free to their nations because of better management and political will of their leaders. In our country it is government responsibility to provide free education and better health facilities to common man and unfortunately this not happening here and private NGO’s and organization like EDHI, CHIPA and some other private organizations are trying their level best to solve the problems of people which we daily witness in our lives.

Government should over view its policies regarding education and health and they must allocate more funds by cutting their extra expenditure from defense and administration and government should curb the corruption from all government levels and on the other hand they must select educated and well track record ministers so that our educational and health system can be overhauled despite the fact that government should take necessary economic measures to create more and more jobs to educated people cause if there are so many educated people and if they don’t jobs could create disharmony in country which we are facing now a days in our country so it’s very good to improve educational system and create skilled labor but providing them jobs and health facilities is needing a positive and mental attitude from our political leaders by helping our nation to solve these issues but as a matter of fact our political leadership has something else in their minds or they are not capable to resolve these issues related to our nation and y they are merely political actors and they are working their own agendas to make money for themselves.
