Rights of minorities

(Sidra Akhlaq, karachi)

Quaid-e-Azam strongly believed that minorities in the Pakistan should have protection with regard to their religion, faith, life, property and culture. They should in all respects be citizens of Pakistan without any discrimination and along with it they would have the obligations of citizenship. The minorities would have to be loyal to the state and owe true faithfulness to the state.

Minority organizations have been complaining for the past few years that their places of worship are being attacked by several blasts and are effected a lot by these acts.

They should be provided with security and protection so they can live freely and peacefully without any fear so that they can practice their custom and traditions according to their religion as they want.

With the step of protecting sacred places of minorities, one is hopeful thus, that other related measures will be taken by relevant authorities to restrain unfair and wicked activities against minorities.
