Help State Survive It
(Muhammad Fareed younas, sialkot)
They are our brothers. They are
not alone in feeling dejected by the unprecedented cruelty encountered by Panj
Tan Pak in Karbala. No one should detest their worship cum celebration of the
historical event. They are, in fact, keeping alive the holy memories of Ahl e
Bayt...But shouldn't they cooperate with state? ...Don't they understand the
worst law and order situation of the country? ... Don't they repent over
thousands of innocent killings before?... Don't they realize that our chronic
enemies are availing opportunities from it...?In Muharram ul Haram and on other
related days on the one hand thousands of security officials are deployed to
secure the huge Processions and on the other hand, ironically, no more than five
persons are allowed to gather at any public place and almost whole country is
blocked with barriers. Mobile networks are turned off. The whole state seems
under emergency without emergency. Dear Ahl e Tash'i brothers!... Government
will never ask you to worship in some bounded areas like Imam Bargahs because
they can't take risk of losing votes of a majority of the country. Its your
responsibility to offer the government to manage your celebrations in closed
areas giving up roads and streets and freeing the security agencies to other
more important tasks... it is only possible by being rational rather than
orthodox of the new educated young generation. Please....let it be done... It
will be the greatest peace message to all rival groups.
