Education refers to the process of learning. The learning may be formal, informal or in non-formal way. Education is continuously adding learning and experiences through our different senses like listen, taste, view, speak, touch from our surroundings. Education is an institute of society which plays its role through socialization of individual as said by W. Mayer.

It acts as a socializing institution for every individual who get nourishment in any society.

The education cast a prominent effect on one’s socialization and socialize one’s to act in any civilization. According to Raymond W. Murray:
“Stratification is the horizontal division of society into higher and lower social units”.

When the educational section gets any click by the stratification process it creates the stratification in education sector and creates / divide it into two different classes of have’s and have’s not depending on the same basics of monetarily things, power, social class and status in the society as in communal stratification.

Here, we see the have’s and have’s not, have’s are those who can afford any sort of education and facilities they can avail, such as the children of have’s get the computer, internet connection etc in their schooling/coaching. But the have’s not cannot afford it.

While discussing the stratification in education segment different programs of education structure, another thing that refers to the two distinctive blogs of “winners” and “losers”.

Where winners refers to the community of rulers / have’s which avail more and more opportunities than the losers / have’s not. Such as, those who can afford and somehow choose O-levels, A-levels in their schooling system, are likely avail more opportunities then the student of conventional standard education system. At that level we see a lot of difference between have’s education and have’s not’s education.

Edification also refers to the skills and knowledge like different skillful trainings, seminars which have’s can attend but haves not cannot as one can meet the expenses one cannot which also generate winners and losers in educational system. The haves experiences different erudition and haves not experiences different.

No doubt, it is a unremitting process, which keep on throughout our life from our life to death. So, this stratification is continued since the first day of human life and prominently indicated by the difference of personalities between have’s and haves not’s. Such as, somehow difference between their socialization in any society.

When, we see the educational stratification by the sociological perspectives, given by Karl Marx. These perspectives are functionalist perspective and conflict perspective.

Through functionalism perspective, as this invite all the societal institutions to work for solidarity and constancy so, it creates a challenge between two classes of have’s and have’s not and formulate a competitive atmosphere which motivate both the classes to work for society e.g. when students see the different criteria’s for education. They compete to attain the opportunities which make the quality of education best.

But when we see this stratification in conflict perspective it creates the two classes as describes like “winners” and “losers”, “have’s” and “have’s not”. Such as, when the privilege is given to one student due to his / her social status then it creates a conflicting atmosphere.

Another perspective is when we view this thing globally; we will see the quality of education will be low where there is stratification in education sector. But where the educational system is clear / free from the stratification that will produce the best quality, so, the global would try to give the system free of stratification to produce the finest quality of education.

So, keeping all these perspective in view, the conclusion is to build a structure free of stratification and should be based on merit for all individuals to aim all the opportunities to produce the most excellent quality education.
