I have often seen people
wanting sales people to join their network marketing business, because they are
good at sales and marketing and they have the great ability of convincing
people.
In my country, Pakistan, such sales people are nick named as "Cheetah" and we
often come across gossips like "o man!! MR.X is such a cheetah he will put my
down line in top gear blah blah, but, I have observed that sales people hardly
make any difference, because, there is a huge difference between selling and
consulting.
A prospect is never afraid of your company or your product, he is afraid of
"YOU", he is always reading the $$$ sign in your eyes...if you can assure him
that you will lead him to the path of success he is all yours, just be sincere,
don't try to speak effective sales lines, if you have a good intention for your
prospect a few simple words can do wonders like "We will do together" do not
over act.
The problem only begins, when we have high expectations and they are not
fulfilled, we become de motivated. Don't expect anything from any Cheetah. Take
Responsibilities to raise your level.
Train yourself and when you add someone in your team it becomes your duty to
coach that down liner about your business, compensation plan, some communication
skills and keep it all simple along with fun activities, and finally, shift some
responsibility to your down line which is also called duplicating the key to
success.
The CEO’s of companies are highly paid not because they do most of the work but
because they have taken on the most responsibility.
You don't have to find cheetahs and heavy hitters to become successful, you
become a leader by taking responsibility.
The more responsibilities you take the higher your level is, till you become a
leader and you know what? If you want to be a leader make some leaders.
"Fast is slow and slow is fast" is true in the business of network marketing,
think long term and focus on your goal and be deaf...if you are on the right
train you will reach your destiny.
There are no failures in network marketing, rather, there are quitters, and they
are everywhere.
I once saw a movie called “Rocky” where Sylvester Stallone played a Boxer who
went from being an everyday citizen to becoming the champion of the world. The
movie was very inspiring, and I felt myself very motivated, similar to the way
we feel after a business presentation, the very next day, I bought a pair of
Boxing gloves, some dumbbells for weight training, a punching bag all costing me
over $250. I then started jogging before sunrise and also switched to a high
protein diet. But guess what happen next? After a month I quit. Just because I
quit this doesn't mean Boxing is all bad, it just wasn’t right for me. There is
nothing you can loose in this promising industry, even if it works out that it’s
not for you, most good companies have a fair refund policy, do a little every
day just like your workout, eventually you will see positive results.
Most people are not patient, they want to shed all the fat overnight, and put on
all the specs and muscles. People always look for shortcuts to success, they
need some unusual secrets, and when they fail they "Google" around looking for
failures to their view point, remember search engines are innocent they
are not advisors, its up to you to analyze the information they give you.
This business is about people, people like you and me who have dreams, some
goals, burning desires to do something for their families and friends, and I
think this industry is providing a fair chance to common individuals in a
capital oriented economy.
There is no secret of success, its a whole recipe, and you can always learn it
from successful people...great people.
So Join this Business and get everything in your Short life.
