S tudents with parents who are
involved in their school tend to have fewer behavioural problems and better
academic performance, and are more likely to complete high school than students
whose parents are not involved in their school. Positive effects of parental
involvement have been demonstrated at both the elementary and secondary levels
across several studies, with the largest effects often occurring at the
elementary level. A recent meta-analysis showed that parental involvement in
school life was more strongly associated with high academic performance for
middle schoolers than helping with homework.
Involvement allows parents to monitor school and classroom activities, and to
coordinate their efforts with teachers to encourage acceptable classroom
behaviour and ensure that the child completes schoolwork. Teachers of students
with highly involved parents tend to give greater attention to those students,
and they are more likely to identify at earlier stages problems that might
inhibit student learning. Parental involvement in school, and positive

self-perception and job satisfaction.

Only about half of low-income parents expect their children to attain a
bachelor's degree or higher. Household income have a very salient role in making
children future. But if their income are spent in a right direction not

Differences by Gender
Overall, parents have higher academic expectations for girls than they do for
boys, and this gender difference becomes apparent as early as sixth grade. In
developing countries parents give more prefer to boys than girls in getting, who
are force to working as a chaos in other people house for earning their income.
Differences by Parental Educational Attainment
Parents with higher levels of education are more likely to be involved in their
children’s schools.it is very salient point to discuss that those parents, who
have a professional degree of education, they have a better sense to deal with
their children in which fields they want to go. Parental Educational Attainment
advantage would get, if they know what type of problem our children facing in
school and colleges so that they can sort out issue by discussing with them. If
parents create such an environment in their home to study, then children will
definitely follow it, and children must supervise by parents so that they can

Differences by Number of Activities Parents and Child
Parents who are more involved in their children's lives, as measured by the
number of shared activities, are more likely to hold higher expectations for
their child's education. Visiting a library together, attending a concert or
play, visiting an art gallery, museum, or historical site, or going together to
a zoo or aquarium were listed as the kinds of activities parents and children
might have shared in the past month. Parents who do not spent time with their
children, then they like to live alone, and they do not have good communication
skills to encounter all the panic situation. The parents who discourage their
children their self-confidence decreases and that children give up hope, and get
