(Majid mahmood, lahore)

Malala Yousafzai is a hero of her world, she takes steps to promote the girls education. She face the many the threats and attacks from Taliban, but she did not lose her goal for girls education.

What yousafzai wants is not difference what the Prophet (P B U H) wanted for girls. Since the Prophet Mammad (P B U H) has not changed. Gender inequality remains of the biggest challenges in Pakistan 21st century the majority of girls and women in this century remain one of the most uneducated of the world. Pakistan is a 2nd Muslim country after Indonesia and the number of Muslim there constitute even percent of the world’s Muslims population.
However, gender inequality in education is still extreme despite.

However, gender inequality in education is still extreme despite the Quran sprit of” Iqra, (Read) the global campaign for education reports that more the 5.1 million primary school aged children in Pakistan does not attend sixty three percent of them are girls.

A major portion of Pakistani society is not welcoming for girls, and girls not attending school classes for this mind set, even those girls who are enrolled in schools cannot attend classes on regular basis.

There is I’m rising a question that ‘what is holding Pakistan back gender inequality in education. There are various reasons, including gender discrimination, early marriage and pregnancy, and physical and mental violence against girls within and outside of schools. Practice of stereotype in Pakistan is also reason of gender inequality and getting equal rights for getting education.

The general tendency of society is to invest in sons education, rather the daughter early marriage pregnancy also play central role in why girls do not receive equal education opportunities in Pakistan.

There are many reason why the existing general inequality in education in Pakistan is problematic first militants violate the Quran by depriving women of their rights to education and banning school for girls and even at expense of their lives and their families. Second Muslim are fail to pass on true spirit of Islam generation to generation. Third thing is that people use the misuse of Islam and not give to girls equal rights in politically and economically and socially.

Infact Islam is give equal rights in education to women, so why we stopped the girls to get education.
