The countrymen were waiting
since the birth of the Country that our mother tongue will be our National
Language, and the Law of Pakistan will be implemented as per Islamic law
according to Quran and Ahadis. Now just the orders for the implementation of
Urdu issued by the Chief Justice, and the Office missionary started criticizing
, that suddenly this will not good, it should be implemented step by step.
How many centuries they need to implement Urdu in this country? We have already
passed 62 years, without any National Language. See other countries they all
using their own language and do not care for any international Language. Turkey,
Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Russia , Brazil,
China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, all the Arab countries, Iran and India. In India
you will never find the railway stations name in English. Who cares for the
English Language? We were in the colony of British so we think English is an
International Language. I myself have visited all these countries which I named
here and practically found difficulties in speaking English. One of my friend
suggested that if the country has his own Language, instead of English we should
speak Urdu; this may be more helpful to understand each other. Practically when
at Brazil I wanted a towel. It had become very difficult to make the shopkeeper
understand to give me towel. My friend spoken the same word with Urdu
pronunciation; the shop keeper became angry and asked in his Portuguese why do
not tell like this before? Practically Portuguese has many Urdu words.(As Vasco
da Gama Portuguese admiral in Indian Ocean1497–1499 brought many world for Urdu
Language) For you interest I give some words such as maiz, kursi, sabon ,kamees,
pajma, keema, dalcha, pagar, batat, bomba, veva (widow) Zulabi(jalaibi) hoj (aaj)
etc.
Japan the biggest industrial Country very advance in Science and now China has
been immerged as a very advance country becoming leader in Science and Industry,
but they are respecting their Language and teaching the same throughout the
world.
Implementing Urdu is not the matter of discomfort of the ambassadors or Pakistan
officials it is practically the matter of comfort of the whole eighteen billion
nationals of Pakistan.
Please do not create hindrances and obstacles in the progress of Urdu in the
country. Actually the champions of English Language know only 30% of the
colloquial, slangs are another problem, even they do not know the literary
Language, cannot write unambiguous. This is the reason all the scientific
achievements are recorded in French where one sentence cannot give two meanings.
Once more I request that please let the Urdu flourish in Pakistan
