Short history of movies:

Our society is a victim of Cultural assimilation and the big reason behind this is these types of media strategies by the Indian movies. Our society is heavily captured by the outer influence of movies. Almost in every 10 movies released in Pakistan, 7 of them are of other countries mostly from Bollywood and Hollywood. This is one of the indirect war to influence the others culture on our society through movies and other visual materials.

Impact of films on Indian society
Indian Film Industry is started the journey from Bombay (Mumbai) and get fast growth with the passage of time. Bollywood is now such a financially strong Industry that “a tax collected from the Bollywood is enough for the Indian total defiance budget”. Mostly Indian movies promote national Integration and patriotism. Movies are the source of entertainment and visual learning, which involves the different aspects of our life. Through the movies people get fake perception about the reality, it influences the thoughts and behavior of the people and cause negative effects on the social setup. Sometimes these movies arouse the sexual harassment in the children and teen agers that cause many un-bearable problems in the society. In Indian society movies blends the viewer’s personal views towards any phenomenon that can create conflicts in the pre-natural existing society. Indianmovies also have a great influence across the border like in Pakistan, Afghanistan, European countries etc. Indian movies are also use as political instrument to aware the Indian people about the mishaps which leads corruption and other lethal crimes.

Film causes a violence exposure in the American society. Movies create pro-violence emotions especially in the children in United States. Films at the starting of cinemas in US considered as the “Low class entertainment”. Films are also used to portray the Socio-cultural heritage in United States as long as the character based story is concerned. Films are having very close link with the politics in US, William hays (head of motion pictures, US) said, no other forum had contributed more than the films to maintain the nation morals during the period of revolution. Americans of the opinion that, films are the way to refresh the tire full life and have the way to become more active in socializing among the people. Hollywood movies are also a way to promote the local culture around the globe.

Analysis:
As we conclude we can say that movies are a way of entertainment but it is now becoming a weapon to promote the norms, values, traditions and thoughts. Movies are also cause violence in societies.
