Thirteen year old girl of Swabi area who’s working as domestic workers in
Peshawar, is beaten by household owner in Peshawar on Sunday. Police detained
the involved person who is Dr by Profession.
According to the police Report through e information they recovered the thirteen
years old girl named Ayesha, who was working as domestic workers at Dr Shakeel
home, she was beaten by owner Dr Shakeel. Police Raided the House located in
Namak Mandi Peshawar, where they recovered the girl and detain the Dr Shakeel
for investigation.
Resident of Swabi Tor Dher, thirteen year old Ayesha is working as a maid in Dr
Shakeel Home since November 2015. Ayesha while talking to Journalists confirmed
the Torture of the House Owner Dr Shakeel, who run Private Clinic in Peshawar.
According to Ayesha, her family sent her for working in Dr Home, because of low
financial position. She worked As Domestic Worker to earn some income for her
family. She added that two days before Dr blame me, that you are a thief. Dr
Shakeel blamed me of stealing money and jewelry from his wife's bag. The
innocent girl added that house owner cut her hair and burnt her through knife
heated by fire.
Domestic worker Ayesha said that she’s working since October 2015, but received
no payment by her household, she further added that her father is not alive,
that’s why she work as domestic workers in Peshawar.
Inspector Zar Wali, who detain the Dr Shakeel confirmed the torture on girl and
said, that we found the cigarette burn spots on the body of Ayesha, that’s why
we sent her for medical checkup to LRH Peshawar. According to police officer
they called the parents of the girls, who are living in suburbia, after the
medical checkup, we will register the proper FIR against the Dr, who’s accused
of torturing the girl.
The doctors of the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar confirmed the torture on
Ayesha, but didn’t show The exact Report. Duty Medical officer of Lady Reading
Hospital Peshawar refused to give any views about the girl torture issue.
The Dr who is involved in the torture on domestic worker was detained in Police
station Shah Qabool, during talks to the Journalists, he admitted of Torture and
said that the girl was involved in theft, that’s why I torture her.
It’s the first Registered Case in Peshawar, in which an educated person of the
society has committed such crime; a doctor BY Profession tortured an innocent
girl. No proper action still taken by the Government of KPK and Child Protection
Bureau of KPK.
