Status of women in Islam

AND i as a Muslim i believe in that " Aleem" is Allah

One day prior to Women International Day ( to be celebrated on 9th. March 2016 ) i received messages from foreign newspapers. The newspapers were trying to tell me the importance of the women's day with remarks of intellectuals of international fame . The above verse of Holy Quran flashed in my mind with idea to see what Allah is telling through The Holy Quran or through the Blessed Life of our Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Sallay Allah Alai Hee Wassallam . And when i did so , doors of many visions were opened

I am surprised what to describe & what not . Any how some are here

(1) One of the important FARZ(essentials) of Islam is HAJJ. If a person has financial power to pay HAJJ & he avoids it then he is doing SIN.

If we see the ritual of HAJJ then we find that one ritual of HAJJ is SAEE .According to this ritual the person who is performing Hajj , runs between SAFA & MARWAH hills.

This ritual is performed in accordance with activity of respected lady Hazrat HAAJRA who ran in search of water between SAFA & MARWAH hills ---so all Muslim in memory of that event of lady runs like that Lady

------so this aspect puts light how ladies have been given status --- that men can not eliminate this activity .A Muslim what ever he has negatives in his mind about ladies has to obey the activity of that lady

(2) At the time of Hudaybiyyah treaty it was agreed that if some Muslim come from non Muslims (KUFFAR) to Medina then that person would be returned to KUFFAR. Under the said treaty many men were returned to KUFFAR . It was known to every one that returnees Muslim would be put in very high torture after returning .

At that moment question of ladies returning was also raised . Then Allah sent the sentence number 10 in Holy Quran at soorah (Chapter) Mumtihena that such ladies would not be returned----

In other words Muslims were asked to care for women & be ready to accept war for welfare of ladies
It shows the importance and respect of women in Islam

(3) The Hudaybiyyah treaty took place while prophet Mohammad Sallay Allah Alahee Wassallam was going for Hajj. In accordance with treaty it was agreed that Muslim would not go for hajj that year .

Prophet Mohammad asked the Muslim companion to shave their hair & sacrafice their animals

It caused a little bit uncomforting among Muslims companions. Their hearts were feeling difficulty in accepting this decision.

Hazrat Mohammad also felt the people heart position, He consulted his wife Ume Salmah about the hard situation . She gave opinion to prophet Mohammad to shave his own hair & sacrifice his own animal with out saying to people.

Hazrat Mohammad found her opinion acceptable & he shaved his hair & sacrificed his animal. When the fellows saw this situation they also started doing so. It shows the importance of women & their participation in decisions .

(4) After passing away of Mohammad Sallay Allah Alai Hee Wassallam , the big source to understand Islam was one lady --- called Hazrat Aysha Razi Allah Tala Anha ----One forth of islamic regulations are based upon the sayings of Hazrat Aisha Razi Allah Tala Anha-- Abu Moosa Asharee says that when ever the Muslims in those days were facing difficulty on some Islamic matters they used to get consultancy from lady Hazrat Aysha Razi Allah Tala Anha . More than 2200 sayings given by that lady are being taken as reference till to date nearly in all Muslim society

(5)Our prophet has said more than one time to have good care of woman--Furthermore at another occasion Mohammad sallay Allah Alaihee Wassallam had asked the men to have consultancy with ladies in domestic affairs

(6)It has also been mentioned in the Hadiths that it was asked "WHAT MOHAMMAD used to do while he used to be in home" then reply was given that he used to help ladies in domestic works-----

(7)Once Hazrat Fatima Razi Allah Tala Anha went to Mohammad sallay Allah Allaihee Wassallam residence .Upon seeing her , Mohammad Sallay Allah Alai Hee Wassallam stood up from his place & spreaded a cloth sheet on ground for her seating----so by all hadithes ,we can judge what respect has been given to ladies in Islam
