Do you have Internet?

(Internet Hai...?)
The Internet has so injected in our daily life that living without it for even a single day seems to be a nightmare. The internet has changed our life enormously; there is no doubt about that. Once it was used just to check emails and doing a little bit browsing, but now we try to wind up emails as early as we could because there are plethora of other tasks needs to be done on a regular basis, like updating status on facebook, replying friend’s messages, tagging, playing games, watching photos & videos. Beside facebook, we have twitter messages to be read and may need to retweet any of them, watching clips on youtube suggested by friends etc the list never ends for many. As for bloggers, internet serves as a blood in a human body.

In our society, where we still seek the assistance of our neighbors when we are lacking anything, like we usually have a practice of knocking the neighbor’s door and asking; do you have some sugar or tea etc? It sounds funny but in real the urge and need of internet has reached to the same extent; if for any reason our net is not working we knock our neighbor’s door and ask him do you have internet? (Internet Hai…?) I have an urgent work.

But it’s not essential always that a person has urgency; few days back one of my friend told me that one day his net wasn’t working so he went to his neighbor’s place to play Farmville on Facebook...! What a freak.

Our youth is mostly indulged in wasting time on internet in different redundant activities. I think we should limit the usage of internet and use it for productive purpose only, as internet is sure a blessing for those who exploit it properly.
