The World of Modeling

 Mass media revolution has set off an impressive fashion scene in Pakistan .It has given birth to Pakistani fashion industry that is flourishing day by day as well as created handsome opportunities for the young and talented girls and boys who want to establish their name in modeling. The profession “Modeling” is a glamorous world that offers an exciting, adventurous, full of charms and a beneficial career to youngsters. Models in Pakistan are often discovered in parties, shopping malls or other obvious places where young people gather. It’s no secret that the Internet has changed the modeling industry where many models have found an outlet for their voice as well as the freedom to share their personal stories and passions with an audience who appreciates them for their personalities not just their ability to pose.

The young Pakistani model from University of Karachi shared his modeling experience. He stated that when he was a student of first year he don’t even knows that we will become a model and enter in a Pakistani industry even though He started his career in 2015 as a common student. However his father was against about his modeling profession only his siblings and his mother supported him as a back bone. He entered in a modeling profession by capturing his shoots from DSLR meanwhile his photos were forwarded in a modeling industry because he had a photogenic face being a photogenic with good looks are one of the most important qualities for a model. So accidentally he becomes an ambassador of the brand “CONFIDENCE”. After doing ramp walks of many brands and being an ambassador he got an opportunity in acting field and he did a totally typical role of a husband in a drama on ARY digital. It was a great experience and he got too much support from his friends viewers and most importantly his co-actors supported him allot. He also added that he did Ramp walks for 25-30 brands. He had done a photo shoot, he also do a photo shoot in summer for a winter collection of leather jackets and shoes with continuous working of Day and night.

In his vision the importance’s of female models in industry is very essential for ramp walks wearing female collections. If female model do not promote a brand to wear a lawn collection how public will know about it?
However he asserted that in this profession around 70% of models get into the profession of modeling in a wrong way while 30% models actually do hard work and work on their own way.
In Modeling the one thing which attract you most is “Glamour”. When your photo shoot uploaded in a social media and 1000 of people liked and commented in your photo, sent you good wishes and when your pictures framed on malls so people clicks selfies with you, this fame and respect given by crowd and people around you attract you towards the profession of modeling.

However the most disappointing feeling for any raising person is that world is supporting you and appreciating you but your own parents are not supporting you. In that case he even knows that he is at his peak and he quits it. Within a 2year he got respect and fame from public and whatever he had done in this profession he had done with honesty.

A very renowned British model Rachel jay after quitting her hobbyist profession wrote many blogs regarding problems she faced during modeling. She give guidance of upcoming youngsters in this profession by saying, Don’t waste your time and money just to shoot. Seriously evaluate whether or not a shoot will benefit you, looking at the entire package in terms of value to you, before you just jump at the opportunity. Don’t be afraid to say, “thank you, but I’m not interested in working with you. Don’t ever let yourself respect crush down by others.
