سَیَقُوْلُ السُّفَهَآءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلّٰىهُمْ عَنْ قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِیْ كَانُوْا عَلَیْهَاؕ-قُلْ لِّلّٰهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَ الْمَغْرِبُؕ-یَهْدِیْ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ ﴿۱۴۲﴾

اب کہیں گے (ف ۲۵۵) بیوقوف لوگ، کس نے پھیردیامسلمانوں کو، ان کے اس قبلہ سے، جس پر تھے (ف۲۵۶) تم فرمادو کہ پورب پچھم (مشرق مغرب) سب اللہ ہی کا ہے (ف۲۵۷) جسے چاہے سیدھی راہ چلاتا ہے۔ ﴿۱۴۲﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) احمق لوگ کہیں گے کہ مسلمان جس قبلے پر (پہلے سے چلے آتے) تھے (اب) اس سے کیوں منہ پھیر بیٹھے۔ تم کہہ دو کہ مشرق اور مغرب سب خدا ہی کا ہے۔ وہ جس کو چاہتا ہے، سیدھے رستے پر چلاتا ہے ﴿۱۴۲﴾

The foolish of the people will say: What hath turned them from the qiblah which they formerly observed? Say: Unto Allah belong the East and the West. He guideth whom He will unto a straight path. ﴾142﴿
