Surah Maidah Ayat 42 in Arabic
سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِلۡكَذِبِ اَكّٰلُوۡنَ لِلسُّحۡتِؕ فَاِنۡ جَآءُوۡكَ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ اَوۡ اَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡۚ وَاِنۡ تُعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فَلَنۡ يَّضُرُّوۡكَ شَيۡـًٔـاؕ وَاِنۡ حَكَمۡتَ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِالۡقِسۡطِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُقۡسِطِيۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 42 with Urdu Translation
بڑے جھوٹ سننے والے بڑے حرام خور (ف۱۰۷) تو اگر تمہارے حضور حاضر ہوں (ف۱۰۸) تو ان میں فیصلہ فرماؤ یا ان سے منہ پھیرلو (ف۱۰۹) اور اگر تم ان سے منہ پھیرلو گے تو وہ تمہارا کچھ نہ بگاڑیں گے (ف۱۱۰) اور اگر ان میں فیصلہ فرماؤ تو انصاف سے فیصلہ کرو، بیشک انصاف والے اللہ کو پسند ہیں، ﴿۴۲﴾

(یہ) جھوٹی باتیں بنانے کے جاسوسی کرنے والے اور (رشوت کا) حرام مال کھانے والے ہیں اگر یہ تمہارے پاس (کوئی مقدمہ فیصل کرانے کو) آئیں تو تم ان میں فیصلہ کر دینا یا اعراض کرنا اور اگر ان سے اعراض کرو گے تو وہ تمہارا کچھ بھی نہیں بگاڑ سکیں گے اور اگر فیصلہ کرنا چاہو تو انصاف کا فیصلہ کرنا کہ خدا انصاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے ﴿۴۲﴾

Surah Maidah Ayat 42 with English Translation
Listeners for the sake of falsehood! Greedy for illicit gain! If then they have recourse unto thee (Muhammad) judge between them or disclaim jurisdiction. If thou disclaimest jurisdiction, then they cannot harm thee at all. But if thou judgest, judge between them with equity. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable. ﴾42﴿
