وَ اِذَا جَآءَهُمْ اَمْرٌ مِّنَ الْاَمْنِ اَوِ الْخَوْفِ اَذَاعُوْا بِهٖؕ-وَ لَوْ رَدُّوْهُ اِلَى الرَّسُوْلِ وَ اِلٰۤى اُولِی الْاَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِیْنَ یَسْتَنْۢبِطُوْنَهٗ مِنْهُمْؕ-وَ لَوْ لَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَتُهٗ لَاتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّیْطٰنَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا ﴿۸۳﴾

اور جب ان کے پاس کوئی بات اطمینان (ف۲۱۴) یا ڈر (ف۲۱۵) کی آتی ہے اس کا چرچا کر بیٹھتے ہیں (ف۲۱۶) اور اگر اس میں رسول اور اپنے ذی اختیار لوگوں (ف۲۱۷) کی طرف رجوع لاتے (ف۲۱۸) تو ضرور اُن سے اُ س کی حقیقت جان لیتے یہ جو بعد میں کاوش کرتے ہیں (ف۲۱۹) اور اگر تم پر اللہ کا فضل (ف۲۲۰) اور اس کی رحمت (ف۲۲۱) نہ ہوتی تو ضرور تم شیطان کے پیچھے لگ جاتے (ف۲۲۲) مگر تھوڑے (ف۲۲۳) ﴿۸۳﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور جب ان کے پاس امن یا خوف کی کوئی خبر پہنچتی ہے تو اس کو مشہور کردیتے ہیں اور اگر اس کو پیغمبر اور اپنے سرداروں کے پاس پہنچاتے تو تحقیق کرنے والے اس کی تحقیق کر لیتے اور اگر تم پر خدا کا فضل اور اس کی مہربانی نہ ہوتی تو چند اشخاص کے سوا سب شیطان کے پیرو ہوجاتے ﴿۸۳﴾

Surah Nisa Ayat 83 with English Translation

And if any tidings, whether of safety or fear, come unto them, they noise it abroad, whereas if they had referred it to the messenger and to such of them as are in authority, those among them who are able to think out the matter would have known it. If it had not been for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy ye would have followed Satan, save a few (of you). ﴾83﴿
