اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ عٰهَدْتُّمْ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ ثُمَّ لَمْ یَنْقُصُوْكُمْ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ لَمْ یُظَاهِرُوْا عَلَیْكُمْ اَحَدًا فَاَتِمُّوْۤا اِلَیْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ اِلٰى مُدَّتِهِمْؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ ﴿۴﴾

مگر وہ مشرک جن سے تمہارہ معاہدہ تھا پھر انہوں نے تمہارے عہد میں کچھ کمی نہیں کی (ف۹) اور تمہارے مقابل کسی کو مدد نہ دی تو ان کا عہد ٹھہری ہوئی مدت تک پورا کرو، بیشک اللہ پرہیزگاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہے، ﴿۴﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) البتہ جن مشرکوں کے ساتھ تم نے عہد کیا ہو اور انہوں نے تمہارا کسی طرح کا قصور نہ کیا ہو اور نہ تمہارے مقابلے میں کسی کی مدد کی ہو تو جس مدت تک ان کے ساتھ عہد کیا ہو اسے پورا کرو۔ (کہ) خدا پرہیزگاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہے ﴿۴﴾

Surah Taubah Ayat 4 with English Translation

Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfil their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him). ﴾4﴿
