اَلَمْ یَاْتِهِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّ عَادٍ وَّ ثَمُوْدَ ﳔ وَ قَوْمِ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ وَ اَصْحٰبِ مَدْیَنَ وَ الْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِؕ-اَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِۚ-فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِیَظْلِمَهُمْ وَ لٰـكِنْ كَانُوْۤا اَنْفُسَهُمْ یَظْلِمُوْنَ ﴿۷۰﴾

کیا انہیں (ف۱۵۸) اپنے سے اگلوں کی خبر نہ آئی (ف۱۵۹) نوح کی قوم (ف۱۶۰) اور عاد (ف۱۶۱) اور ثمود (ف۱۶۲) اور ابراہیم کی قوم (ف۱۶۳) اور مدین والے (ف۱۶۴) اور وہ بستیاں کہ الٹ دی گئیں (ف۱۶۵) ان کے رسول روشن دلیلیں ان کے پاس لائے تھے (ف۱۶۶) تو اللہ کی شان نہ تھی کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا (ف۱۶۷) بلکہ وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظالم تھے (ف۱۶۸) ﴿۷۰﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) کیا ان کو ان لوگوں (کے حالات) کی خبر نہیں پہنچی جو ان سے پہلے تھے (یعنی) نوح اور عاد اور ثمود کی قوم۔ اور ابراہیم کی قوم اور مدین والے اور الٹی ہوئی بستیوں والے۔ ان کے پاس پیغمبر نشانیاں لے لے کر آئے۔ اور خدا تو ایسا نہ تھا کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا لیکن وہی اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے ﴿۷۰﴾

Surah Taubah Ayat 70 with English Translation

Hath not the fame of those before them reached them - the folk of Noah, A'ad, Thamud, the folk of Abraham, the dwellers of Midian and the disasters (which befell them)? Their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). So Allah surely wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves. ﴾70﴿
