حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْهُذَلِيِّ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَن النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا رَكَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَقَالَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدْ تَمَّ رُكُوعُهُ وَذَلِكَ أَدْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَقَالَ فِي سُجُودِهِ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدْ تَمَّ سُجُودُهُ وَذَلِكَ أَدْنَاهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ لَمْ يَلْقَ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ أَنْ لَا يَنْقُصَ الرَّجُلُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ تَسْبِيحَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْتَحِبُّ لِلْإِمَامِ أَنْ يُسَبِّحَ خَمْسَ تَسْبِيحَاتٍ لِكَيْ يُدْرِكَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ ثَلَاثَ تَسْبِيحَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَكَذَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی رکوع کرے تو رکوع میں «سبحان ربي العظيم» تین مرتبہ کہے تو اس کا رکوع پورا ہو گیا اور یہ سب سے کم تعداد ہے۔ اور جب سجدہ کرے تو اپنے سجدے میں تین مرتبہ «سبحان ربي العظيم» کہے تو اس کا سجدہ پورا ہو گیا اور یہ سب سے کم تعداد ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن مسعود کی حدیث کی سند متصل نہیں ہے۔ عون بن عبداللہ بن عتبہ کی ملاقات ابن مسعود سے نہیں ہے ۱؎، ۲- اس باب میں حذیفہ اور عقبہ بن عامر رضی الله عنہما سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا عمل اسی پر ہے، وہ اس بات کو مستحب سمجھتے ہیں کہ آدمی رکوع اور سجدے میں تین تسبیحات سے کم نہ پڑھے، ۴- عبداللہ بن مبارک سے مروی ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں امام کے لیے مستحب سمجھتا ہوں کہ وہ پانچ تسبیحات پڑھے تاکہ پیچھے والے لوگوں کو تین تسبیحات مل جائیں اور اسی طرح اسحاق بن ابراہیم بن راہویہ نے بھی کہا ہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Mas'ud narrated that : the Prophet said: When one of you bows then says while he is bowing: (Subhana Rabbiyal Azim) 'Glorious is my Lord the Magnificent' three times, then he has completed his bowing. And that is the least of it. And when he prostrates and says while prostrating: (Subhana Rabbiyal A'la) 'Glorious is my Lord the Most High' three times, then he has completed his prostrations, and that is the least of it.'
