حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَوْبُ حَرِيرٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَجَعَلُوا يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

براء رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس کچھ ریشمی کپڑے ہدیہ میں آئے، ان کی نرمی کو دیکھ کر لوگ تعجب کرنے لگے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جنت میں سعد بن معاذ رضی الله عنہ کے رومال اس سے بہتر ہیں“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں انس رضی الله عنہ بھی حدیث مروی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Bara: A garment of silk was gifted to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) so they began to marvel at its softness, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do you marvel at this? Indeed, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this.'
