حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اسْتَغْفَرَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْبَعِيرِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ لَيْلَةَ الْبَعِيرِ مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَبَاعَ بَعِيرَهُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ وَاشْتَرَطَ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ جَابِرٌ:‏‏‏‏ لَيْلَةَ بِعْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَعِيرَ اسْتَغْفَرَ لِي خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ جَابِرٌ قَدْ قُتِلَ أَبُوهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَرَامٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَتَرَكَ بَنَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَكَانَ جَابِرٌ يَعُولُهُنَّ وَيُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبَرُّ جَابِرًا،‏‏‏‏ وَيَرْحَمُهُ لِسَبَبِ ذَلِكَ. هَكَذَا رُوِيَ فِي حَدِيثٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ نَحْوَ هَذَا.

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «ليلة البعير» ( اونٹ کی رات ) میں میرے لیے پچیس بار دعائے مغفرت کی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے، ۲- ان کے قول «ليلة البعير» اونٹ کی رات سے وہ رات مراد ہے جو جابر سے کئی سندوں سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک سفر میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے، انہوں نے اپنا اونٹ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ بیچ دیا اور مدینہ تک اس پر سوار ہو کر جانے کی شرط رکھ لی، جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں: جس رات میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ اونٹ بیچا آپ نے پچیس بار میرے لیے دعائے مغفرت فرمائی۔ اور جابر کے والد عبداللہ بن عمرو بن حرام رضی الله عنہما احد کے دن شہید کر دیئے گئے تھے اور انہوں نے کچھ لڑکیاں چھوڑی تھیں، جابر ان کی پرورش کرتے تھے اور ان پر خرچ دیتے تھے، اس کی وجہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے ساتھ حسن سلوک فرماتے تھے اور ان پر رحم کرتے تھے، ۳- اسی طرح ایک اور حدیث میں جابر سے ایسے ہی مروی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) supplicated for forgiveness for me on the Night of the Camel, twenty-five times.
