حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَفِظْتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ كَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے دس رکعتیں یاد ہیں جنہیں آپ رات اور دن میں پڑھا کرتے تھے: دو رکعتیں ظہر سے پہلے ۱؎، دو اس کے بعد، دو رکعتیں مغرب کے بعد، اور دو رکعتیں عشاء کے بعد، اور مجھ سے حفصہ رضی الله عنہا نے بیان کیا ہے کہ آپ فجر سے پہلے دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Umar narrated: I memorized ten Rak'ah from Allah's Messenger (S) which he would pray in a night and a day: Two Rak'ah before Az-Zuhr, two after it; two Rak'ah after Al-Maghrib and two Rak'ah after the latter Isha. He said: And Hafsah narrated to me that he (S) would pray two Rak'ah before Al-Fajr.
