حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِي أَيِّ شَهْرٍ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي رَجَبٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ تَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ فِي شَهْرِ رَجَبٍ قَطُّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ.

Urdu Translation

عروہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے پوچھا گیا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کس مہینے میں عمرہ کیا تھا؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: رجب میں، اس پر عائشہ رضی الله عنہا نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جو بھی عمرہ کیا، اس میں وہ یعنی ابن عمر آپ کے ساتھ تھے، آپ نے رجب کے مہینے میں کبھی بھی عمرہ نہیں کیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا کہ جبیب بن ابی ثابت نے عروہ بن زبیر سے نہیں سنا ہے۔

English Translation

Urwah said: Ibn Umar was asked: In which month did the Messenger of Allah perform Umrah? He said: 'During Rajab.' So Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah did not perform Umrah except that he was with him - meaning Ibn Umar - and he did not ever perform Umrah in the month of Rajab.'
