Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet said, The two months of `Id i.e. Ramadan and Dhul-Hijja, do not decrease (in superiority).

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنَ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : شَهْرَانِ لَا يَنْقُصَانِ : شَهْرَا عِيدٍ رَمَضَانُ ، وَذُو الْحَجَّةِ .

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے معتمر بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اسحاق سے سنا، انہوں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے (دوسری سند) امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا اور مجھے مسدد نے خبر دی، ان سے معتمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے خالد حذاء نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی اور انہیں ان کے والد نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا دونوں مہینے ناقص نہیں رہتے۔ مراد رمضان اور ذی الحجہ کے دونوں مہینے ہیں۔
