Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي مِكْيَالِهِمْ ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ ، وَمُدِّهِمْ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ قعنبی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسحٰق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، اے اللہ! انہیں ان کے پیمانوں میں برکت دے، اے اللہ! انہیں ان کے صاع اور مد میں برکت دے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مراد اہل مدینہ تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, O Allah bestow your blessings on their measures, bless their Mudd and Sa. The Prophet meant the people of Medina.
