Narrated Abu Burda: `Aisha brought out to us a patched wool Len garment, and she said, (It chanced that) the soul of Allah's Apostle was taken away while he was wearing this. Abu-Burda added, Aisha brought out to us a thick waist sheet like the ones made by the Yemenites, and also a garment of the type called Al- Mulabbada.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا كِسَاءً مُلَبَّدًا ، وَقَالَتْ : فِي هَذَا نُزِعَ رُوحُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَزَادَ سُلَيْمَانُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا عَائِشَةُ إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي يَدْعُونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ .

مجھ سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے ایوب سختیانی نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے حمید بن ہلال نے اور ان سے ابوبردہ بن ابوموسیٰ نے بیان کیا کہا   عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ہمیں ایک پیوند لگی ہوئی چادر نکال کر دکھائی اور بتلایا کہ اسی کپڑے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی روح قبض ہوئی تھی۔ اور سلیمان بن مغیرہ نے حمید سے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے ابوبردہ سے اتنا زیادہ بیان کیا کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے یمن کی بنی ہوئی ایک موٹی ازار ( تہمد ) اور ایک کمبل انہیں کمبلوں میں سے جن کو تم ملبہ ( اور موٹا پیوند دار کہتے ہو ) ہمیں نکال کر دکھائی۔
