حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقَامَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ بِطَرِيقِ خَيْبَرَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ حَتَّى أَعْرَسَ بِهَا ، وَكَانَتْ فِيمَنْ ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِجَابُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابواویس نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے میرے بھائی عبدالحمید نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے سلیمان بن بلال نے ‘ ان سے یحییٰ بن سعید انصاری نے ‘ ان سے حمید طویل نے اور انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صفیہ بنت حیی رضی اللہ عنہا کے لیے خیبر کے راستہ میں تین دن تک قیام فرمایا اور آخری دن ان سے خلوت فرمائی اور وہ بھی امہات المؤمنین میں شامل ہو گئیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet stayed with Safiya bint Huyai for three days on the way of Khaibar where he consummated his marriage with her. Safiya was amongst those who were ordered to use a veil.
