Baab Nikah Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : آلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ شَهْرًا وَقَعَدَ فِي مَشْرُبَةٍ لَهُ ، فَنَزَلَ لِتِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ، فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّكَ آلَيْتَ عَلَى شَهْرٍ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے خالد بن مخلد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سلیمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے حمید نے بیان کیا اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی ازواج مطہرات سے ایک مہینہ تک الگ رہے اور اپنے ایک بالاخانہ میں قیام کیا۔ پھر آپ انتیس دن کے بعد گھر میں تشریف لائے تو کہا گیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے تو ایک مہینہ کے لیے عہد کیا تھا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ مہینہ انتیس ( 29 ) کا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: Allah's Apostle took an oath that he would not visit his wives for one month, and he sat in an upper room belonging to him. Then, on the twenty ninth day he came down. It was said, O Allah's Apostle! You had taken an oath not to visit your wives for one month. He said, The (present) month is of twenty-nine days.
