حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو نے، ان سے جابر بن زید نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( محرم کے بارے میں ) فرمایا ”جسے تہمد نہ ملے وہ پاجامہ پہنے اور جسے چپل نہ ملیں وہ موزے پہنیں۔“

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, Whoever cannot get an Izar, can wear trousers, and whoever cannot wear sandals can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather).
