حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَ : وَيْحَكَ إِنَّ شَأْنَ الْهِجْرَةِ شَدِيدٌ ، فَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَهَلْ تُؤَدِّي صَدَقَتَهَا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَاعْمَلْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْبِحَارِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَنْ يَتِرَكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ شَيْئًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے سلیمان بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابوعمرو اوزاعی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے ابن شہاب زہری نے بیان کیا، ان سے عطاء بن یزید لیثی نے اور ان سے ابو سعید خدری نے کہ   ایک دیہاتی نے کہا: یا رسول اللہ! ہجرت کے بارے میں مجھے کچھ بتائیے ( اس کی نیت ہجرت کی تھی ) ۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تجھ پر افسوس! ہجرت کو تو نے کیا سمجھا ہے یہ بہت مشکل ہے۔ تمہارے پاس کچھ اونٹ ہیں۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ جی ہاں، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دریافت فرمایا کیا تم ان کی زکوٰۃ ادا کرتے ہو؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ جی ہاں، فرمایا کہ پھر سات سمندر پار عمل کرتے رہو۔ اللہ تمہارے کسی عمل کے ثواب کو ضائع نہ کرے گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: A bedouin said, O Allah's Apostle! Inform me about the emigration. The Prophet said, Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you)! The question of emigration is a difficult one. Have you got some camels? The bedouin said, Yes. The Prophet said, Do you pay their Zakat? He said, Yes. The Prophet said, Go on doing like this from beyond the seas, for Allah will not let your deeds go in vain.
