Narrated Jundab: I heard the Prophet, saying, I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount. (Al-Kauthar) .

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جُنْدَبًا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ .

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ کو میرے والد نے خبر دی، انہیں شعبہ نے، ان سے عبدالملک نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، کہا کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں حوض پر تم سے پہلے موجود ہوں گا۔
