Ibn 'Abbas reported from the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ): I was commanded to prostrate myself on seven bones and not to fold back clothing or hair.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ، وَلَا أَكُفَّ ثَوْبًا وَلَا شَعْرًا»

  شعبہ نے عمرو بن دینار سے ، انہوں نے طاؤس اور انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : نبی اکرمﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’مجھے حکم دیا گیا کہ میں سات ہڈیوں ( والے اعضاء ) پر سجدہ کروں اور یہ کہ میں ( نماز میں ) نہ کپڑا اڑسوں اور نہ بال ۔ ‘ ‘
