Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّجَاشِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ، يَقُولُ: «كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ تُنْحَرُ الْجَزُورُ، فَتُقْسَمُ عَشَرَ قِسَمٍ، ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ، فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ مَغِيبِ الشَّمْسِ»

Urdu Translation

  ہمیں ولید بن مسلم نےحدیث سنائی ، کہا : اوزاعی نےہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے ابو نجاشی سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نےحضرت رافع بن خدیج ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے سنا ، کہہ رہے تھے : ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز عصر پڑھتے ، پھر اونٹ ذبح کیا جاتا ، اس کے دس حصے کیے جاتے ، پھر ہم اسے پکاتے اور سورج کےغروب ہونے سے پہلے ہم اچھی طرح پکا ہوا گوشت کھا لیتے ۔

English Translation

Rafi' b. Khadij reported: We used to say the afternoon prayer with the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), and then the camel was slaughtered and ten parts of it were distributed; then it was cooked and then we ate this cooked meat before the sinking of the sun.
