Ya'la b. Umayya reported: I said to 'Umar b. al-Khattab, and the rest of the hadlth is the same.

و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَيْهِ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ إِدْرِيسَ

  یحییٰ نے ابن جریج سے سابقہ سند کے ساتھ حضرت یعلیٰ بن امیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا! میں نے حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے عرض کی ۔ ۔ ۔ ( بقیہ روایت ) ابن ادریس کی حدیث کی طرح ہے ۔
