و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ سَفِينَةَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ وَزَادَ قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قُلْتُ مَنْ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ عَزَمَ اللَّهُ لِي فَقُلْتُهَا قَالَتْ فَتَزَوَّجْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Urdu Translation

  عبداللہ بن نمیر نے کہا : ہمیں سعد بن سعید نے حدیث سنائی ، انھوں نے کہا : مجھے عمر بن کثیر نے حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے آزاد کردہ غلام ابن سفینہ سے خبر دی اور انھوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اہلیہ حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ۔ ۔ ۔ ( آگے ) ابو اسامہ کی حدیث کے مانند ( حدیث بیان کی ) اور یہ اضافہ کیا : حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نےکہا : جب ابو سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فوت ہوگئے تو میں نے ( دل میں ) کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابی ابو سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے بہتر کون ہوسکتاہے؟پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے ارادے کو پختہ کردیا تو میں نےوہی ( کلمات ) کہے ۔ اس کے بعد میری رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شادی ہوگئی ۔

English Translation

Umm Salama, the wife of the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him), reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) saying like the hadith transmitted by Abu Usama, but with this addition that she said: When Abu Salama died I said: Who is better than Abu Salama, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), and Allah decided for me and I said (these words contained in the supplication mentioned above) and I was married to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ).
