Sahih Muslim 2431 - The Book Of Zakat

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبِيَةً وَلَمْ يُعْطِ مَخْرَمَةَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ مَخْرَمَةُ يَا بُنَيَّ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ قَالَ ادْخُلْ فَادْعُهُ لِي قَالَ فَدَعَوْتُهُ لَهُ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِ قَبَاءٌ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَضِيَ مَخْرَمَةُ

Urdu Translation

  لیث نے ( عبد اللہ ) بن ابی ملیکہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت مسور بن مخرمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قبا ئیں تقسیم کیں اور مخرمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو کو چیز نہ دی تو مخرمہ نے کہا : میرے بیٹے !مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس لے جا ؤ تو میں ان کے ساتھ گیا انھوں نے کہا : اندر جا ؤ اور میری خاطر آپ کو بلالا ؤ میں نے ان کی خا طر آپ کو بلا یا تو آپ اس طرح اس کی طرف آئے کہ آپ ( کے کندھے ) پر ان ( قباؤں ) میں سے ایک قباء تھی آپ نے فر ما یا : " یہ میں نے تمھا رے لیے چھپا کر رکھی تھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کی طرف نظر اٹھا کر فر ما یا : " مخرمہ راضی ہو گیا ۔

English Translation

Miswar b. Makhrama reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) distributed some cloaks but did not bestow one upon Makhrama. Upon this Makhrama said: O my son, come along with me to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). So I went with him. He said: Enter the house and call him (to come out) for me. So I called him and he (the Holy Prophet) came out, and there was a cloak (from those already distributed) on him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: I had kept it for you. He (Makhrama), looked at it and was pleased.
